Congratulations, Brother Argenis Angulo!

I am delighted to share my heartfelt congratulations to my remarkable brother Argenis Angulo, for his remarkable achievements in championing civic responsibility and ethical leadership.

As the President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) the in 2022 , co-founder of YAST GROUP; co-author of Leadership Horizon for the Sarawak Tribune and, he has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a leader who acts on his convictions.

Reflecting on our enlightening conversation about the Human Duties movement, which Argenis passionately introduced to me, I am filled with honor. We spoke back on the morning of January 14, 2023, at Unity Park in Kuching, Sarawak where he shared his vision for a world rooted in shared responsibilities.

What I am about to share is not merely a note of congratulations; it is a heartfelt tribute to a personal journey that has now blossomed into something monumental.

On June 5, 2025, a historic milestone was reached when the Legislative Council of the State of Zulia, Venezuela, enacted the Law on Human Duties.

I couldn’t be happier with the news of a historic milestone in civic engagement—the enactment of the Law on Human Duties by the Legislative Council of the State of Zulia, Venezuela. This legislation, inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Duties for Leaders that Argenis launched, marks a significant step toward ethical governance and the promotion of human dignity.

With this new law, Zulia has paved the way for a comprehensive legal framework that integrates the concept of duties-based citizenship into public governance. It emphasizes the importance of peace, solidarity, and ethical conduct among all citizens, and I couldn’t be prouder of the impact my brother has had in making this a reality.

The establishment of July 10 as Human Duties Day in Zulia is a testament to the commitment of the state toward raising awareness and action. The recognition of civic responsibilities, especially concerning environmental protection, cultural preservation, and social engagement, is commendable, and it sets an inspiring example for other regions.

Argenis, your leadership has not only shaped the landscape of civic responsibility in Zulia but also serves as a beacon of hope for communities around the world. The support of the Zulia Legislative Council and various state departments shows just how powerful collective action can be when driven by visionary leaders like you.

Thank you, my dear Brother Argenis, for your dedication to fostering ethical leadership and global citizenship. Your work is a source of inspiration not just for me but for countless individuals striving to make a difference in their communities.

Cheers to you and the incredible impact you’re making—here’s to a brighter, more responsible future for us all!
Happy Birthday my beloved Brother Argenis Angulo.

Love,
Esther
